College Basketball Recruiting: Ranking the Class of 2012

facebooktwitterreddit

Here it is. The 2012 player rankings headlined by Shabazz Muhammad, Mitch McGary and Kyle Anderson.

Shabazz leads the group as the overall #1 player. He is a top tier athlete with great explosiveness off the dribble. He has the ability to post up on the low block to score while also displaying a consistent mid-range jumper.

Mitch has a high motor and rebounds with the best of them. At 6’10 he’s versatile enough to play with his back to the basket or face up and drive to the basket to finish with either hand. Mitch has also showed a good mid- range jumper to go along with his offensive repertoire.

Kyle has the most unique skill set in this class. At 6’8 he has great ball skills which enable him to play point guard in high school. At the next level he can utilize his ball skills and passing ability to play point forward. Kyle has also demonstrated a high basketball IQ while playing for hall of fame coach Bob Hurley.
