Busting Brackets Daily Dish: Auburn nabs another recruit

It hasn’t taken Bruce Pearl long to re-establish himself in the college basketball recruiting scene. After netting two top-100 recruits yesterday, Pearl and Auburn landed what many believe is the #1 junior college prospect in T.J. Dunans.

"2015 SG T.J. Dunans (Columbia State CC) has committed to Auburn, source told @CBSSports. Considered top JUCO guard in the country.– Jon Rothstein"

That gives the Tigers a heck of a boost for next season, and proves Pearl is still an incredibly capable recruiter.

Staying on recruiting news, Scout.com released their updated 2015 class team rankings, and Arizona is on the up and up, sitting at the top spot. Following the Wildcats are Louisville, Duke, Syracuse, and the Washington Huskies, who have three top-100 recruits already for 2015.

However, with only two of the top ten prospects having made decisions so far, those rankings are certain to change, but it’s impressive to see a team like the Huskies or Auburn (#11) making their way onto these lists. LSU also sits in the top ten, having secured the commitment of the #2 recruit, Ben Simmons.

Lastly, in a little bit of non-NCAA or recruiting news, former outspoken Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson is getting a pro tryout in Italy. Henderson was one of the more brash and often uncensored players in college basketball, earning himself friends and lots of enemies along the way.
