facebooktwitterreddit

Rarely does a recruit come much bigger than Christ Koumadije. At 7’3″, 220 pounds, Koumadjie is quite literally one of the biggest recruits in the 2015 class, and the Florida State Seminoles have landed his services.

Per 247sports’s Jerry Meyer, Koumadje made his decision to join Florida State and their three guards coming in next season’s recruiting class.

"Koumadjie, who is originally from Chad, played travel ball this summer with Seminole commit Dwayne Bacon.Ranked No. 171 by 247Sports and No. 251 in the 247Sports Composite, Koumadjie broke onto the national scene with his play at the Reebok Breakout Classic in July."

  • While Koumadjie may not be the most highly rated recruit, the old adage goes “you can’t teach size.” Hardly anyone will be bigger than Koumadjie and he’ll add a ton of size to the Seminole front line.

Prior to the commitment, FSU was quite high on the lists of team rankings in 2015 – #5 on Rivals, #4 on ESPN, #6 on Scout. While the commitment of Koumadjie certainly won’t vault them up any lists, it will add some great variety to the class. ESPN still lists Koumadjie as a four-star recruit, but is outside of their top 100.

With the three other recruits being top 100 ESPN recruits, FSU is set up for a big influx of talent next season.
