Freshman who has not lived up to the hype?

JN: Rysheed Jordan. Came in with a substantial amount of hype and has sometimes fallen out of the St. John’s rotation. I don’t want to knock him too much, though. It’s not his fault he isn’t living up to other people’s expectations.
BLW: I do not have a strong opinion on this. I am not a big freshman hyper myself. For the most part, the real blue chip guys are doing a solid job.
JM: This may not be a popular answer because he’s been really good still but when you tell me somebody’s going to be LeBron, I want to see LeBron, and Andrew Wiggins hasn’t been LeBron. I know that’s very Adam DeMamp-ish “I’ve never even jet-ski’d off a waterfall” (Workaholics reference), but I was expecting to be talking about Wiggins the way I’ve spoken about Durant, Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony and the like, and he just hasn’t lived up to that hype. Blame it on expectations because 15 and 6 is far from disappointing, but he hasn’t even been the best player on his team, let alone in the country, and that’s what I was promised.
