2014 NBA Mock Draft: An in-depth look at both rounds

16. Chicago Bulls — T.J. Warren, SF/PF, North Carolina State

Some expect the Bulls to go with a point guard in case The Return Volume 3 (or so or whatever) doesn’t go as planned. Although, I fully expect Chicago to focus on getting draft picks to help in areas they are lacking with or without Derrick Rose, which is getting guys who can put the ball in the bucket.
Gary Harris fits here as well, but T.J. Warren is just a little more versatile and that is the lone reason he is getting the nod here. Another option for Chicago, if this is the way the draft actually plays out, is to go the route of an International player like Jusuf Nurkic.
Regardless, Chicago has two good picks in this draft and should use at least one of them for a guy who can score, but it’d be nice if they would use both to fill those needs — as you never know if a guy’s ability to score will translate. Better off taking two shots at it because the Bulls roster is already filled with other types of roleplayers. — Joe
