While that just about wraps up the Mountain West’s marquee games, you’ll still have a number of opportunities to watch its teams play. If you’re willing to dedicate your computer screen to Mountain West basketball for two hours, ESPN3 features a number of intriguing games, including some non-conference matchups that pair top Mountains West teams up with potential NCAA Tournament participants. Some of my favorites include Colorado at Wyoming on November 12 (time TBD), Boise State at North Carolina State on November 28 (7 p.m. EST) and New Mexico State at New Mexico on December 3 (9 p.m. EST).
If the games in this article aren’t enough to fullfill your San Diego State basketball fix, the Aztecs will have another game that is nationally broadcast. The team takes on a Cincinnati squad that has a solid chance to make the NCAA tournament on December 17 in a matchup that will air on ESPN2.
San Jose State also found its way into a nationally televised matchup, playing Washington as a part of the Wooden Classic on ESPN2. However, given that the Spartans won just one game in Mountain West play last season, the contest likely won’t be a particularly good matchup.
