7. Cliff Alexander, Power Forward (Fr.) – Kansas

Many have already forgotten that before the start of the high school all-star game season, it was Cliff Alexander who was considered Jahlil Okafor’s biggest competition at the top of the 2014 draft board. He was also Okafor’s biggest competition in the city of Chicago. Alexander’s Whitney Young HS team wrestled the city championship from Okafor’s Currie HS after four overtimes. His performance in the duel announced his arrival as a top prospect. Alexander is a rugged prototype-4 who possesses skill and touch. Though he laid an egg last night when matched up against Kentucky’s skyscrapers, Alexander is seen as another can’t miss big man in this deep class.
