There’s only one man for the list, and he’s been dominant all season long. Somehow, his 21-point, 9-of-11 shooting performance in the opening round game was the lesser of his performances over the weekend. However, after dropping that stat line on Robert Morris, Okafor dropped 26 points on a San Diego State team that had decent size, but no one who could contain Okafor.
On the weekend, he shot a combined 21-of-27 (78%). That’s nearly as dominant a performance as physically possible. He also gave us this awesome “Jahzilla” Vine.
With his next game coming against Jakob Poeltl, someone much closer to his size than either SDSU or RMU could put on the court, we’ll see just how dominant he can be. In reality, he might not have played anyone like Poeltl all season long, which makes it very intriguing.
