Reggie Theus/ Shooting Guard/ 6-foot-7, 190 lbs.

Cal-State Northridge has one of the most versatile guards to ever hit the hardwood coaching their hoop team in Reggie Theus.

When Reggie Theus was at UNLV, he guided the Runnin’ Rebels to their first ever Final Four berth in his sophomore year, and showed that he knew how to get buckets averaging 18.5 points per contest his senior year, before leaving school early and being drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1978 with the ninth overall pick of the first round.

In 1979, Theus was runner up for NBA Rookie of the Year

The biggest reason why Reggie Theus was the choice at shooting guard for this team is durability.

In his 13 NBA seasons, Theus played 80 games or better.  In nine of his 13 NBA seasons he played all 82 games seven times.

Theus scored 19,015 points in the NBA, averaging 18.6 points and  6.3 assists.

He is going to be the player that gets to the rim and either gets his own shot or finds someone else for a bucket and he can also play a little point guard if need be.

Now this position could have easily been given to Dan Majerle who is coaching Grand Canyon University in the WAC.

But Reggie Theus durability is going to win out over Dan Majerle for this team.

Besides, Theus was playing with the John Holmes mustache. You can’t beat that!
