How Come Brice Johnson Went Completely Bonkers in Tallahassee?

Brice Johnson logged 39 points and 23 rebounds simply because he was working hard in the paint while the Seminoles were falling asleep at the wheel in the interior.

Johnson was 14 of 16 from the floor in scoring his 39 points and a lot of those points came from offensive rebounds that he either put back up for buckets or got fouled in the process of putting back up.

You have no idea how many times you wanted to yell at your TV screen and say, “Why don’t you put a body on Brice Johnson! He is killing you!”. But the Seminoles could not hear you from the couch.

Florida State is going to continue to be punished by teams who feed off of rebounding if they are not going to put a body on anyone.

I understand that Boris Bojanovsky and Chris Koumadje are not the strongest in the blocks with their scrawny legs and weak bases. But they can’t let someone who is not much stronger than them own the paint the way that he did.

Brice Johnson is on fire by the way. He is averaging 21.0 points and 12.4 rebounds over the last seven games.
