6. 1994-95 Wake Forest Demon Deacons

How could a Tim Duncan team not end up in this countdown? Duncan and Randolph Childress is one of the most dominant duos ACC basketball has ever seen. Duncan averaged 16.8 points, 12.5 boards and 4.2 blocks per game. Those numbers are out of this world.

Childress was an All-American going for 20.1 points a game and stuffing the stat sheet in every way. This is one of the better Wake teams at 26-6 overall and 12-4 in the ACC. That conference record put them in first that season.

While this Wake Forest team wasn’t great offensively, they were a giant on defense finishing in the top ten in points per game. Unfortunately their lack of offense caught up to them and they were put out in the Sweet 16.

Nonetheless, this Demon Deacon squad was very dominant over opponents and Timmy D was a big part of that.
