18. 2005-06 Duke Blue Devils

The 2005-06 Blue Devils highly underperformed considering the talent they had on the roster, but because of the skill and how they finished the season, they deserve to be here. The team finished 32-4 overall, and won the ACC Tournament.

It featured All-American shooting guard JJ Redick, who is now currently an LA Clipper. In his final season with Duke, he averaged 26.8 points per game on 42 percent from three.

The team was dominant on the offensive end thanks to Redick’s shooting and on the defensive end due to the “Landlord” Shelden Williams.

There is no reason this team should not have at least competed for a National Championship with the mixture of senior leadership and young talent on the roster. Nonetheless, they were absolutely dominant during the regular season, putting them as one of the greatest ACC teams ever.
