2. Harry Giles (Duke)

Harry Giles headlines another impressive recruiting class for Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski. At 6’11”, 222 pounds, Giles’ size and length alone dramatically improve the Blue Devils front court.

He’s long, athletic and extremely talented. He’s a versatile big man with the ability to dribble, drive the lane and finish above the rim. His shooting touch gives him the freedom to hit a variety of mid-range shots, as well as the occasional outside shot.

His value can also be seen on the defensive end of the court, as he utilizes his size advantage on smaller opponents (blocking and altering shots). Opponents will have to think twice when entering a painted area that includes the likes of Giles, Jayson Tatum and Amile Jefferson.

Don’t get too comfortable seeing Giles in a Blue Devils uniform though. He’ll be gone by this time next year.
