6. De’Aaron Fox (Kentucky)

De’Aaron Fox is a 6-foot-4, 171-pound point guard out of Katy, Texas, who is already being compared to former Kentucky basketball standout John Wall.

While I’m more inclined to pump the breaks a bit on that comparison, there’s no denying that Fox is an immensely talented athlete with a lot of upside.

Fox is listed as a point guard, but can comfortably move from one-position to the two-position. He’s a talented ball-handler and passer both in transition and in the half court. He’s a good facilitator and an even better scorer.

Fox is an aggressive offensive player which is what makes him so lethal when he’s running in transition. He’s active with or without the ball, and won’t hesitate to pull up off the dribble and call his own number.

With the talent surrounding Fox at Kentucky this season, he should have no problem flourishing in whatever role he finds himself in. He, Edrice “Bam” Adebayo and Malik Monk should compliment each other well on their way to an SEC conference title.
