6. Tyler Dorsey (Oregon)

Tyler Dorsey came into his freshman season at the University of Oregon as a top-30 recruit. He outperformed that ranking, and then some.

His 30.1 minutes and 13.4 points per game were both third highest on a team that made it all the way to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight. He was sixth on the team in shooting percentage at 44.1 percent, but led the team in three-point shooting percentage, making 40.6 percent of his attempts.

On nine occasions, Dorsey connected on three or more three-pointers in a game while shooting 50 percent or better from beyond the arc.

If last season is any indication, Dorsey should be an important piece on a team that returns junior forward Dillon Brooks and senior big man Chris Boucher.

With that in mind, Oregon should open the 2016-17 season as favorites to repeat as Pac-12 champions.
