5. Experience

In a league where one and dones are increasingly popular, Notre Dame plays with virtually the opposite. The Irish start three juniors and two seniors, with some of these players having seen playing time in those back-to-back Elite Eight runs.

These guys possess that savvy veteran leadership to make plays down the stretch. Like the one below.

Experience is never a bad thing, and it is also something the Irish will lean on to help them make a third straight Elite Eight appearance.
