4. Offense

The Irish offense isn’t flashy or necessarily fun to watch. They just play smart disciplined basketball. The Irish lead the country in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.85. They shoot free throws at an NCAA-best 81.5 percent. They also are sixth in the nation in fewest turnovers per game with only 10.0 per contest.

Sometimes the team that wins isn’t necessarily the team that makes the most plays, but rather the team that makes the least mistakes. Notre Dame won’t shoot themselves in the foot. To beat the Irish you must beat them straight up because they aren’t going to beat themselves.
