6. Virginia Cavaliers

Previous Ranking: 12

Record: 18-5 (8-3)

Virginia has been up and down with wins over Virginia Tech and Louisville, but losses at Villanova and Syracuse. A road game at Virginia Tech is the team’s next opportunity to start a winning streak.

Star guard London Perrantes scored 18 to lead the team over the Cardinals and got help from Isaiah Wilkins’ 13 and Darius Thompson’s 10 off the bench. The Cavaliers aren’t overly impressive, but their style and efficient play have them in the mix for an ACC title.
