2. Wisconsin Badgers

Previous Ranking: 4

Record: 20-3 (9-1 Big Ten)

Wisconsin has claimed sole ownership of the Big Ten lead after Maryland fell last night. The Badgers will try and avoid an upset when they visit Nebraska onThursday night.

Ethan Happ had 20 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in the team’s win over Indiana last week to lead the squad. Star Nigel Hayes had 15 and 10 rebounds and Bronson Koenig was third with 11. The Big Ten hasn’t been as strong this season, but that hasn’t stopped Wisconsin from looking like a quality tournament team going into mid-February.
