Record: 19-5 (9-2 SEC)

South Carolina is in a three-way tie for first place in the SEC after losing a four-overtime thriller against Alabama. The Gamecocks will hit the road and visit Mississippi State on Saturday.

Sindarius Thornwell did everything possible to get his team over the top against the Crimson Tide. He scored 44 points and nearly won the game by himself. The only other player in double-digits was P.J. Dozier at 21. South Carolina is an odd team, but strong guard play has them in the mix for a Sweet 16 run.
