UT Arlington Mavericks

When it comes to upset-ready mid-majors, the Mavericks are the real deal. All three of their non-conference losses came on the road to teams that should make the 2017 NCAA Tournament.

UT Arlington already boasts a share of the Sun Belt Conference title with two games in hand and look like they are more than ready to put the “Madness” in March Madness. However, if they lose in the conference tournament, will they be left on the outside-looking-in to the 2017 NCAA Tournament?

I hope not, and college basketball fans everywhere should hope that the Selection Committee finds a way to get this talented team into the Big Dance if they falter in the Sun Belt tournament.
