SEC

Lead-Pipe Lock: Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina

Some Perspiration: Arkansas

Better Double-Up on the Deodorant: Vanderbilt, Georgia

Arkansas Razorbacks, 22-7 (11-5): For teams sitting on the bubble, Arkansas has set the example as of late for how to get into a safer position. The Razorbacks are now on a five-game winning streak, which included a road win over South Carolina. They have reasonable numbers on the season and in my opinion, are definitely deserving of an at-large bid. If the team can win their next two (even if it is unlikely), they will be locked up before the SEC tournament even hits.

Record vs. RPI top-50: 3-5          Record vs. RPI 50-100: 7-0

Monday seed: 10      RPI: 32     SOS: 59

Bad losses: vs. Mississippi State, @ Missouri

Remaining schedule: at Florida (3/1), vs. Georgia (3/4)

Vanderbilt Commodores, 16-14 (9-8): It would have been really nice for Vanderbilt to get that road win over Kentucky on Tuesday, but it just didn’t happen for them. The Commodores led by as many as 19 points in the first half, but couldn’t hold on as the game progressed. Still, the team looks to be passing the eye test at the right time, and could get a home win over Florida to finish the year.

Record vs. RPI top-50: 4-7          Record vs. RPI 50-100: 5-6

Monday seed: 11     RPI: 48     SOS: 5

Bad losses: at Alabama, vs. Bucknell, at Missouri, vs. Tennessee

Remaining schedule: vs. Florida (3/4)

Georgia Bulldogs, 17-12 (8-8): The lack of a signature win really hurts Georgia, but they should get another date with one of Florida, Kentucky, or South Carolina in the SEC tournament to move closer to being in the projected field. Playing on the road against Arkansas is definitely a tough match-up, but it could also be a must-win for the Bulldogs. Georgia is being helped out by a weak bubble, but they need one or two signature wins late in the season.

Record vs. RPI top-50: 1-7          Record vs. RPI 50-100: 7-4

Monday seed: First Four Out     RPI: 54     SOS: 20

Bad losses: at Texas A&M, vs. Alabama, at Oakland

Remaining schedule: vs. Auburn (3/1), at Arkansas (3/4)
