Frank Mason finally posts a double-double

Player of the Year candidate Frank Mason III has been unstoppable all season, and that will certainly carry over to the Big 12 tournament.

Shockingly, the senior guard has not yet posted a double-double all season, despite his impressive averages of 20.5 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, and 5.1 assists per game.

Mason is coming off his best statistical performance all season, posting 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists against Oklahoma State. Mason has flirted with a double-double on so many occasions this season, it’s bound to happen sooner than later.

Mason will have, according to my projections, two outings during the conference tournament before Kansas is sent home packing. A double-double and a stuffed stat sheet from Frank Mason is destined to happen in Kansas City this week.
