American Athletic Conference

Lead-Pipe Lock: Cincinnati, SMU

Some Perspiration: None.

Better Double-Up on the Deodorant: Houston

Houston Cougars, 21-9 (12-6): Due to being the three seed in the AAC Tournament, Houston gets a first round bye. They are awaiting the winner of Connecticut and South Florida. If they fall in that game, the Cougars will certainly be out of tournament contention. But, if Houston makes it out, they get another shot at Cincinnati for a chance to reach the tournament final. That date with the Bearcats would be a must-win, and they would need to play SMU (should they get there) close in the final to have a chance to hear their name called on Selection Sunday as an at-large bid.
