Bracketology: Final Bubble Watch before Selection Sunday
Pac-12
Lead-Pipe Lock: Arizona, Oregon, UCLA
Some Perspiration: None.
Better Double-Up on the Deodorant: USC, California
USC Trojans, 23-8 (10-8): The clear problem with USC’s resume is their lack of quality wins. After likely getting past Washington in the first round, the Trojans will face UCLA in the second round. A win in that game would lock them into the field, but a loss might send them out of the field entirely. USC is in a very precarious place entering the weekend.
Record vs. RPI top-50: 2-5 Record vs. RPI 50-100: 3-2

Bad losses: at Arizona State
California Golden Bears, 19-11 (10-8): Cal needs three wins in the Pac-12 tournament to make the field. The first two are rather achievable, with Oregon State and the Utah, but Oregon would likely be their next matchup. Even though they would have 21 wins entering that game, it would be a must-win against the Ducks. The Golden Bears have a lot of work to do to get in.
