C-USA domination

The shocking decision to place MTSU as a No. 12 seed implies that the Blue Raiders would not have made the 2017 NCAA Tournament without a C-USA tournament victory, which would have been a travesty. Luckily, Kermit Davis’ squad refused to give the Selection Committee the opportunity to make a mistake.

The ultra-talented team from Murfreesboro, TN, dominated Conference USA, going 17-1 and then rolled through the conference tournament with ease. This team knows that it is the underdog and the NCAA would like them to lose so a “bigger” school moves on to the next round.

This team has been shown no respect all season long, which will drive them to victory in crunch time.
