8. LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds

LIU Brooklyn finished second in the NEC and went 20-11 overall this past season. Still, the LIU-Brooklyn administration decided to part ways with head coach Jack Perri. Overall, Perri posted a 77-79 record in five seasons, which included two 20-win seasons.

LIU Brooklyn has made three NCAA Tournament appearances this decade though none since 2013. The Blackbirds have been to six NCAA Tournaments and two NITs in its history. The Blackbirds have also won six NEC regular season crowns.

LIU should return three of its top five scorers, led by sophomore guard Jashaun Agosto.  Two-star Shyheim Hicks is currently the only recruit signed for the 2017 season.
