5. Saint Louis

From a pure geographical stand point, this is a dream come true. They are located in the same city as the headquarters of the conference and would add a second school to Missouri. They do not have football and would make traveling within the league much easier.

Saint Louis isn’t close to many teams in the Atlantic 10 since it is heavily based along the East Coast. The Midwest has some great basketball talent and being in a conference located closer to the university could help recruitment and fan interest.

This is almost guaranteed to not happen given the names leaving the league, but the MVC should go big. Saint Louis has had a few down years as of late and a change of scenery could do the program some good. They could easily return to their contending form from a few years ago.
