16. Jeff Lebo, East Carolina Pirates
Jeff Lebo had a short NBA career after spending four seasons at UNC. He appeared in four games with the San Antonio Spurs, tallying six points and hauling in four rebounds.
Lebo got his start in coaching as an assistant coach at East Tennessee State in 1990. He also had stints at Vanderbilt and South Carolina before getting his first head coaching job in 1998 at Tennessee Tech. Lebo posted a 75-43 record, which includes two regular season OVC titles and an NIT appearance in 2002.
Lebo moved onto Chattanooga where led the Mocs to a 40-20 record in two seasons. The 50-year old then was hired by Auburn in 2004. After six seasons, he was fired by the Tigers.
Lebo has spent the last seven seasons at East Carolina. He has posted a 114-118 record with the Pirates. The Pirates have participated in the CIT three times, claiming the tournament’s championship in 2013.
