11. Lehigh over Duke – 2014

The Mountain Hawks entered with a 26-6 record and were led by future NBA star C.J. McCollum. He proved he could play with the big boys as he torched Duke for 30 points.

The Blue Devils entered with a record of 26-8 and were just 55 miles from their home campus. Although it was essentially a home game, they struggled mightily from three-point range, shooting 6-of-26, and could not contain McCollum.

For a team that consisted of Austin Rivers, Ryan Kelly, and Mason Plumlee, Duke was an obvious favorite.

Lehigh took the lead with 8:21 to play and the Blue Devils would never match them, only getting within three points twice. It was just the second time in 16 years that Duke failed to win its opening round match up.
