4. Wisconsin – Won 66 – 59

The Badgers were one of the hottest teams in the country and had won eight straight before the game with Northwestern. They were ranked No. 7 in the country and looked like they were cementing themselves as one of the best in the country.

The Wildcats went into the always hostile Madison environment and came away with a hard-fought win. Bryant McIntosh delivered a game-high 25 points and added seven assists and rebounds. Both he and Vic Law played 40 minutes for the Wildcats. They gave Wisconsin their first loss of the season in Madison.
