2. Michigan – Won 67 – 65

On a last second full court Hail Mary pass, Dererk Pardon converted a layup and helped clinch the first ever NCAA Tournament appearance for the Wildcats. Nathan Taphorn was responsible for launching the ball and launching the Wildcats to the Big Dance.

The Wildcats were potentially going to get an at-large bid regardless of this outcome, but the emphatic win added to the team’s tournament resume.
