1. Vanderbilt – Won 68 – 66

It was the Wildcats’ first-ever NCAA Tournament win, and, while they got a little bit of help on a strange foul play by Vanderbilt, a win is a win. The Wildcats entered as a No. 8 seed, and it showed the perseverance of the Wildcats.

Vic Law struggled to find his shot and only recorded two points after going 1-for-8, but still produced seven rebounds. Bryant McIntosh recorded 25 points, and Scottie Lindsey and Dererk Pardon both added 14 points. Pardon had a double-double with 11 rebounds, and the Wildcats capped off a fantastic season with a first-ever tournament victory.
