Missouri

What a strange, yet great month for the Tigers. First Missouri hired head coach Cuonzo Martin from Cal. Then they landed number one overall recruit, Michael Porter Jr. Porter then helped woo four-star point guard Blake Harris to Missouri after a visit to the Missouri campus that included Porter, Harris, and Knox.

If Missouri were to land Knox as well, that would make things really interesting in the SEC. One thing that may deter Knox is winning. He has made it clear that he wants to truly be in contention for a national title, something that is a breath of fresh air in the one-and-done culture as of late. The question is then, why Missouri? The Tigers won just eight games this past season.

Yes, they have a new coach and a great recruiting class coming in, but are they going to instantly be contenders? Probably not. Is Knox going to say that he turned down $1.4 million dollars to play basketball at Missouri? Also, probably not.

Another thing to mention: does Knox want to play second fiddle to Michael Porter Jr? Or does he want to be the man at another school?

In the end, could this be the future of Missouri basketball?

There are also rumors that Missouri is out of contention, but Knox has yet to confirm these.
