Indiana Basketball: 5 things to look forward to heading into the 2017-2018 season

5. How the players mesh in a new system

This may turn into something not-so-positive, as there will most likely be massive learning curves with this young Indiana team. I for one am excited to see them in this new system. Finally, there won’t be any more dribble handoff weaving offense transitioning into the matador defense that IU has played in recent years.

It will be a tough transition for players who typically don’t play much of any defense, but, if everyone can play as a unit, this team should be good.
