San Antonio Spurs

Picking late in the first round, the San Antonio Spurs could pick up Mitchell who fits a clear need. Danny Green is the clear starter but is known for his defense. Behind him, Manu Ginobili is getting older, and Jonathan Simmons is a bit too inconsistent to provide more than about 20 minutes.

Mitchell could go to the Spurs and feel no pressure to blossom immediately. The third or fourth shooter to come off the bench, he would have time to develop his already solid game – especially on the defensive end.
