Trevon Duval

Trevon Duval is by far Duke’s most valuable acquisition of this off-season. At just 6-3 and 190 lbs, he can do it all.

In his latest highlight tape, comprised of plays from his senior season at IMG Academy, “Tricky Tre” dunks over larger defenders, passes to open teammates at the rim, and gets away from his defender to hit shots with ease. His versatile skill set will allow him to cement himself as one of Duke’s best point guards in recent history— comparable to Kyrie Irving and Tyus Jones.

His decision to attend Duke is especially important due to the departure of Frank Jackson, who had an immeasurable impact on last year’s season (especially down the stretch) despite splitting playing time with Grayson Allen and Luke Kennard. Look for Duval to assume control of Duke’s offense from the first game of the season and have an immediate impact everywhere on the court.
