2017 NBA Draft: Which players should have stayed in school?
Tony Bradley, North Carolina Tar Heels
Tony Bradley is in a similar situation as Anigbogu, though the UCLA product has more upside. Bradley, however, did show more ability on the offensive end than Anigbogu despite playing just a touch more than the former Bruin.
The 6’11”, 250-pound center averaged 7.1 points along with 5.1 rebounds while shooting 57.3% from the field in less than 15 minutes of action. He produced three double-doubles this past season.
Here is the problem with those stats. Bradley thrived against low-majors, producing 10.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in six games. On the other, he averaged 6.3 points and 4.6 caroms in 28 games against Power Five Conference teams.
Bradley, who is currently ranked as the 40th best prospect by Draft Express, wanted a first-round guarantee to remain in the draft. Obviously, if he got a guarantee then he made the correct decision.
