Matthew Graves

Matthew Graves is reportedly being interviewed for the position and has spent extensive time with the Bulldogs in his past. After playing st Butler from 1993-1998, he played the role of either assistant coach or associate head coach for the Dawgs from 2000-2013.

Now 42 years old, he has been the head coach at South Alabama since 2013, compiling a total record of 51-78 while with the Jaguars. With South Alabama, he has working towards creating a culture similar to what has been built at Butler. Although the record does not indicate great things, the program at South Alabama has been trending up under his watch.

Next: Who will the Bulldogs play in the PK80 Tournament?

It will be interesting to see how the coaching decision develops, but Butler should still be in good shape moving forward thanks to solid starters in Kamar Baldwin, Kelan Martin, and Tyler Wideman returning.
