Northwestern Wildcats at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Prior history in the event: Northwestern is 8-10, Georgia Tech is 6-10

History against each other: Northwestern leads the series 2-1. Georgia Tech won the last meeting 66-58 in 2014.

Northwestern is coming off their best season in program history which led them to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. They return plenty of talent and look to be a preseason top-25 team. Georgia Tech went 21-16 in the first season under head coach Josh Pastner and finished second in the NIT. They are hoping to take the next step and make the Big Dance.
