Penn State Nittany Lions at NC State Wolfpack

Prior history in the event: Penn State is 8-8, NC State is 6-11

History against each other: NC State leads the series 16-3. NC State won the last meeting 72-55 in 2012.

Both of these teams missed the NCAA Tournament a season ago, and they will need some serious improvement from last year to this if they want that to change. Nonetheless, this game is important for deciding the winner of the challenge, and the Wolfpack will need to play without star Dennis Smith Jr., who left for the NBA Draft.
