Outlook

The outlook for these four former Ducks is not entirely clear.

Tyler Dorsey probably has the best opportunity to become a regular rotational player with the Hawks. Assuming he continues to produce points at a high rate, he will be a valuable role player.

Jordan Bell is the most NBA-ready player in the group but the depth of talent on the Warriors roster may limit his minutes to start. However, the Warriors decision to pay cash for his draft rights means they are seriously interested in his ability as an interior defender.

Dillon Brooks will most likely remain at the end of the Grizzlies’ bench, if not spending time in the G-League. His in-between size means he is most likely going to be a small forward, a position which does not match his athleticism.

When it comes to Dylan Ennis, I do not see him making a strong case as an NBA player. His chances of making the Warriors roster are slim-to-none, and his chances with the Thunder are only slightly better. If he does sign a longer contract with OKC, it will most likely be a two way contract which will keep him alternating between the NBA and G-League.

It will be fun to watch as these four men work to earn themselves an opportunity to play in the NBA. Good luck to these former Ducks!
