Jeremiah Tilmon

Mark my words. Jeremiah Tilmon is going to come to this Tigers’ squad and make an immediate impact.

Missouri is entering the 2017-18 season with little talent from Kim Anderson’s roster, and Cuonzo Martin is basically rebuilding this team from scratch. Martin has always been a fantastic recruiter, as he showed in his time with the Tennessee Volunteers and California Golden Bears – both of which had multiple players in the NBA last season.

Tilmon is a 6’10, 215-pound center out of East Saint Louis, Illinois, who played for East Saint Louis High School and is rated by nearly every recruiting site as a four-star recruit.

However, he is going to have a phenomenal freshman season with the Tigers, as he is already taller or close to the height of every other player on the Missouri roster. Tilmon should see significant playing time and pull down a ridiculous number of rebounds in his freshman season.

While he might decide to leave for the NBA after his freshman season, I could see him stay for another year or two in the hopes he works his way into the lottery – especially when you look at the talent that will already join this roster heading into 2018-19.
