Florida

The Gators are almost always a perennial power in the SEC and in the country. Fresh off of their Elite Eight appearance, the Gators once again look to be in a solid position to return to the NCAA Tournament and make a deep run. This incoming freshman should help.

Chase Johnson: Johnson is a product of Division 1 talent powerhouse Huntington Prep, who averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds per game. Florida was going for some size in the interior and with Johnson that is exactly what they get. Chase initially had plans to reclassify to 2018 and remain at Huntington Prep for his final year of prep school, but, on the official visit to Florida in September, they showed him enough for him to scratch that plan and go ahead and commit. At 6’8” and 205-pounds, Florida will want Chase to gain some muscle, but when he does he could be a very fine player for the Gators.
