Big Ten Basketball: Class of 2017 recruiting breakdown
By Bryan Mauro
Maryland Terrapins
Maryland has finished in the top half of the league and made the NCAA tournament in each season since joining the Big Ten. Head Coach Mark Turgeon has been able to continue the success that Maryland hoops prides itself on. This year should be no different as Maryland once again has a nice team returning, and they possess one of the best home court advantages in the league.
G Darryl Morsell – Baltimore, MD
Rated ∗∗∗∗ and #73 by 247Sports
Morsell is a killer off of the dribble thanks to his very quick first step. This should lead to him getting into the lane with ease. He also has elite ball handling skills and can score in many different ways. He does not have a great jump shot or range from the outside, though. With Melo Trimble now playing professionally, Morsell will have some big shoes to fill.
