Minnesota Golden Gophers

The Gophers had the best turnaround in the nation last year, led by young talent and transfers.  Coach Pitino and his coaching staff did a great job coaching up the talent they had and leading this team to the NCAA tournament.  In the tournament, they just happened to run into the buzzsaw that was Middle Tennessee State.  Coach Pitino will try and get his team back to the NCAA tournament to try and make a deeper run this year.

PG Isaiah Washington – Bronx, NY

Rated ∗ and #60 by 247Sports

This point guard from New York is a tough-nosed scorer who is also an elite passer.  Isaiah has a quick first step and is able to blow by defenders.  He has a very nice mid-range game and loves to pass through traffic.  His three-point shot could be a little more consistent, which will hopefully come with time.
