Big Ten Basketball: Class of 2017 recruiting breakdown
By Bryan Mauro
Nebraska Cornhuskers
The Huskers had a tough season last year. They dropped 12 of their last 15 games after starting out 3-0 in the conference. Nebraska had a hard time defending the three last year, as well as shooting it. With top-flight transfers Issac Copeland and James Palmer in tow, Nebraska hopes to find the magic of their tournament run of 2014.
SG Thomas Allen – Garner, NC
Rated ∗∗∗∗ and #106 by 247Sports
It always makes headlines when Nebraska basketball wins a recruiting battle over the Kansas Jayhawks. Thomas Allen could be the cure that ails Nebrasketball. He is a good shooter, making over 100 threes last year during his high school and AAU season split between Brewster Academy and Garner Road AAU. He is also able to play point guard some as well as hang off-ball. Look for a lot of sets with Glynn Watson and Thomas Allen on the floor together.
