NCAA Basketball: Breaking down the field of the 2018 Battle 4 Atlantis
Wisconsin Badgers – Big Ten
Speaking of consistent programs, look no further than the Wisconsin Badgers. This century, Wisconsin has been ridiculously competitive and successful. While making every NCAA Tournament in the 2000’s and reaching two Final Fours, it is hard to argue against Wisconsin being a top program nationwide.
Now under head coach Greg Gard, Wisconsin has not taken a step down in the past couple of seasons, making the Sweet 16 in 2017 before falling on a last-second shot to Florida. Entering 2018-19, Wisconsin could be very dangerous due to star forward Ethan Happ hopefully returning for his senior season.
If Happ is to return, he would be a top frontrunner for National Player of the Year and Wisconsin’s highly-touted recruiting class will be explosive sophomores in Madison. They could make a real splash in this nonconference tournament while launching up the top-25.

The Battle 4 Atlantis is a great tradition in college basketball. For the 2018 edition, the Bahamas are playing host to some of the best programs across the nation. There will certainly be some outstanding matchups that will be fun to watch at the beginning of the 2018-19 season.
