Starters

SR Makai Mason

Although he’s “technically” a senior, but because of Ivy scholarship rules Mason will be leaving the program after this season for Baylor. But, for this year, the 6’1 guard will look to regain his title as the best player in this league. Two years ago he averaged 16.0 ppg and finished third in the Ivy in assists. With the talent around him, that assist total is likely to rise.

JR Trey Phills

Starting 25 games last season, Phills was sixth in the league in total steals. The 6’2 guard is also a competent shooter, making 1/3 of his shots from deep.

SO Miye Oni

This player has the best chance to play in the NBA. He has great size at 6’6 and 220 pounds and was top ten in many offensive and defensive categories. The upcoming sophomore led the team in scoring at 12.9 ppg and had over six boards a night. Mason might get the overall headlines for Yale, but Oni may be the one making the big bucks in the future.

JR Blake Reynolds

The forward stepped up big time last season, going from 2.1-9.4 ppg. Not only was he top ten in conference rebounding, but he can step out and shoot the three well. He was an underrated playmaker, dishing out 2.5 apg from the post.

SO Jordan Bruner

The 6’9 forward is the defensive anchor of the team, finishing in the top ten in overall defensive rating. He was second in the Ivy in blocks, and he rebounds from his position as well as anyone else. Mind you, he did all of that as just a freshman.
