9. North Carolina will be solid too

It is impossible to talk about Duke without instantly moving onto their top rivals in North Carolina. The Tar Heels are coming off of winning the National Championship this past season and are ready to have another successful year. Behind the expected star play of guard Joel Berry, head coach Roy Williams once again has a top-10 team in his hands. Duke might be the overall favorite to win the ACC, but you can expect that the Tar Heels will be close on their tails if not in front all season long.

The frontcourt depth might not be as tremendous as it has been in the past, but they are headed by Luke Maye, the hero from last year’s Elite Eight game. In the backcourt, it is impossible to ignore the skill. Along with the previously mentioned Berry, Theo Pinson, Seventh Woods, Jalek Felton, and more make up one of the deadliest group of guards in the country.

It can get exhausting talking about how successful UNC has been in the last few years and that should continue once again this season. The biggest question surrounding the Tar Heels is whether or not they can reach their third consecutive NCAA Tournament Championship Game.
